Through her art, Janet Echelman creates public art from nets that move and change. In 2009, Janet will complete
Water Sky Garden for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, and work for Phoenix Civic Space,
Her secret is patience.
She Changes, in Portugal, is a work suspended above a three-lane roundabout. She graduated from Harvard College and has graduate degrees in painting and psychology, and was a Harvard Loeb Fellow, Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow, and Fulbright Lecturer. She lives in Brookline, MA.
