Kristin Calhoun
Public Art Manager
Regional Arts and Cultural Council
Kristin Calhoun has been managing public art projects in Portland for nearly 20 years. Most recently, her work has focused on Portland’s new park facilities, the City’s Portable Works Collection, artists’ involvement in streetscape and infrastructure projects, and the renovation and expansion of the Northwest Sculpture Collection for the Portland Mall with TriMet, the local transit authority. On the wonkier side of her administrative life she is proud to have guided the City’s 2 Percent for Art ordinance expansion and the adoption of administrative rules and budget tracking procedures.
Temporary public art is a passion for her, having founded the in situ PORTLAND program for the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
