Kendra joined the staff of Americans for the Arts in August 2013. As the project coordinator for the Executive Office, she manages department communications and scheduling; coordinates Board of Directors’ meetings and events; and develops and carries out special projects. Kendra first arrived at Americans for the Arts as an intern in the Leadership Alliances department. Prior to joining Americans for the Arts, she worked in the Office of Development at Stanford University and interned at the Public Theater in New York City in the Associate Producer and Shakespeare Initiative departments.

A military child for most of her life, Kendra first encountered theater through musical films at six years old while living abroad in Japan. She received her B.A. in English from Stanford University where she was regularly involved in theater as an actress and then as a producer.
