Liz Bartolomeo
Public Relations Coordinator
As a member of the Executive Office, Liz coordinates the media and press relations for the organization. She also works in planning visibility efforts for National Arts and Humanities Month every October. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Liz is a 2004 graduate of the George Washington University (GW), where she received a B.A. in political science and minors in dance and journalism. At GW, Liz was features editor for The Hatchet, GW’s independent student newspaper. The Hatchet was named the best nondaily college newspaper in the country in 2004 by the Society of Professional Journalists. Liz is an avid dancer, having danced for more than 20 years, and is currently teaching and pursuing choreography projects. Before coming to Americans for the Arts, she interned at Knight Ridder/Tribune, Women’s Campaign Fund, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
