Having grown up just outside New York City, Caroline has appreciated the arts since a young age. Before joining Americans for the Arts in December 2011, Caroline graduated from Colgate University in central New York with a double major in art history and classical studies. While in college, she interned with several museums and arts nonprofits, such as Colgate's Picker Art Gallery and the Frick Collection. During her internship with MAD Art, Inc., a nonprofit community art gallery, Caroline became particularly interested in the local art and artists of Central New York. Since her graduation from Colgate, she has completed an internship with JSTOR, a digital archive and online research platform, during which she developed technical and database skills. Caroline also enjoys taking photographs, going to the ballet, and exploring new cities.
