Private-Sector Initiatives Coordinator
Following a successful performing career in dance, theater, and television, Valerie managed a multimedia research library for J. Walter Thompson, NY for several years. Prior to joining the Arts and Business Council of Americans for the Arts, she assisted the associate vice president for business and finance at the University of New Mexico while earning a certificate in nonprofit arts management and pursuing her love of the French language. Valerie was also invited to teach acting as a guest artist at the University of New Mexico Valencia Campus and for the New Mexico Screen Actors Guild Conservatory. She joined the Arts and Business Council in August 2004. Valerie provides resources and tools to the Private Sector Network, coordinates the Private Sector Council and manages the national BVA program.
