Mr. Burbidge is the current Research & Operations Manager for the Metro Atlanta Arts and Culture Coalition, an Arts & Culture Service organization dedicated to education, awareness and advocacy for arts and culture issues in the 10 county Metro Atlanta Region.  Currently the organization is working on pre-planning for a possible 10 county cultural master plan.  Research is currently being completed on the health of the Atlanta cultural region in comparison to 12 other multi-county regions. 

Gregory also spends time steering the ship for the Emerging Arts Leaders of Atlanta program, delivering programs for the 200 individuals currently enrolled.  In the last two years the program has created over 100 mentor opportunities, facilitated monthly speaker events, and hosted successful annual Creative Conversations events.  The EALA book club is undergoing some new transitions for the digital age.  This year the Atlanta program was featured in the national Americans for the Arts newsletter for its innovative programming, and the Atlanta network hosted a roundtable conversation at the annual AFTA conference.

Before joining MAACC Mr. Burbidge spent 6 years as the manager of a non-profit performance arts venue, overseeing 400+ events per. While in this position Mr. Burbidge also created new programming to reach out to a rapidly growing multi-cultural population in the region, successfully creating new programming that achieved national media attention.

In his free time, Greg found an artistic outlet as a textile artist, successfully weaving together interests in mathematics, sheepherding, and wearable art.
