Discounts on Registration
To receive a discount for early registration, your registration form must be postmarked by March 31, 2006. The regular registration deadline is April 28, 2006. Registrations must include full payment or government purchase order number.

Those registering at the Americans for the Arts member rate must have paid their 2006 Americans for the Arts membership dues by the date of registration. Don’t forget that when you register for the convention, you get a discount on your preconference registration!

Team Registration
To allow more of your staff and board members to attend our convention, Americans for the Arts offers a substantial discount for teams, who may register at a special flat rate. A team is a group of five or more individuals from a single organization responsible for full payment. Team registrations must include individual registration forms for each team member, and one form of payment, and must be received at one time. Team members must be staff or board members of the same organization. State arts agencies may sponsor a team comprising only their own staff and board. Exchanging registrations or adding to teams once registration has been processed is not allowed. (Please note that preconference registrations are not part of the team registration.)

One-Day Rate
Can’t attend the whole convention? Join us for a single day for just $175. The one-day rate does not apply to team registrations. Registrants attending one day only are not eligible for the emerging leader discount.

Roommate Referral Program
If you are interested in sharing a room to reduce the cost of attending the conference or a preconference, we can help. Just check off the roommate referral box on the registration form, and we’ll send you a list of other interested attendees. To be eligible for the Roommate Referral Program, registration forms must be sent in no later than March 31, 2006.

Emerging Leaders
We are pleased to continue our work in engaging the motivated minds of those arts professionals age 35 and under, or with 5 or fewer years experience working in the arts. Throughout the convention, these emerging leaders will meet with seasoned professionals as well as their peers to advance their skills in and knowledge of the field. By working together, we can cultivate the next generation of arts leaders in America. For more information on the emerging leader program, please visit the field services section of our website.

Emerging leaders that attend are eligible to receive $50 off their convention registration. (A discounted emerging leader registration must be paid by a sponsoring organization to qualify for the discount. Only one discount per organization. The emerging leader discount is not applicable to scholarship or special offer recipients, or preconference only and team registrants.)

Scholarship Opportunities
Americans for the Arts is pleased to offer four types of scholarships to arts leaders throughout the country to assist them in participating in the Americans for the Arts 2006 Annual Convention and preconferences. In addition, many state, statewide, and regional arts agencies offer scholarships for people in their service area to attend the convention. Assistance is often in the form of registration or travel subsidies.
