Those registering at the Americans for the Arts member rate must have paid their 2008 Americans for the Arts professional membership dues prior to the date of registration. Don't forget that when you register for the conference, you get a discount on your preconference registration!

  1. Join as a Professional Member of Americans for the Arts and receive the member discount rate
    As a professional member, in addition to meeting discounts, you receive the Monthly Wire e-newsletter and Arts Link, a quarterly print newsletter, along with access to many professional networks and professional development opportunities. Check out the other benefits and join today!
  2. Register Early
    • Early-Bird Registration Deadline
      To receive this discount, registrations must be postmarked on or before Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
    • Advance Registration Deadline
      Registrations must be received by Friday, October 24, 2008.
    • On-Site Registrations
      Registrations and payments submitted after Friday, October 24, 2008, must be confirmed at the Onsite Registration Desk.
  3. Apply for a Scholarship
    Americans for the Arts is pleased to offer scholarships to arts leaders throughout the country to assist them in participating in the 2008 National Arts Marketing Project Conference. In addition, many state and regional arts agencies offer scholarships for people in their service area to attend the conference. Applications for Americans for the Arts scholarships are due Thursday, July 31, 2008. Please visit our scholarships page to view participating state and local arts agencies as well as Americans for the Arts scholarship information and application.
  4. Volunteer
    Americans for the Arts is pleased to announce the opportunity of reduced conference registration fees for current Americans for the Arts members who volunteer to work eight hours during the conference. Visit our volunteer page for more information. Volunteer applications are due Friday, August 29, 2008.
  5. Register as a Group
    Group registration discounts are available. A Group is defined as 15 or more individuals from one or more organization. There must be one form completed per registrant. Please note that online registration is not available for Group Registrations. Group Registrations must be coordinated by a single individual and all forms and payments submitted at the same time. Exchanging registrations or adding to Groups once the registration has been processed is not permitted. Group Registrations must be received by Friday, October 24, 2008. The cost per person is equivalent to the Member Early-Bird rate of $415.
  6. Share a Room
    Interested in sharing a room with another conference attendee to help reduce the cost of attending? Just check the Roommate Referral Box on the registration form and we'll send you a list of other interested attendees. To be eligible for this program, registration forms must be received no later than Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Americans for the Arts cannot guarantee a roommate will be available. We advise you to reserve your room with the hotel and cancel the reservation if you pair with a roommate.
