Kelly Balthazor

Kelly Balthazor was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Kelly began her career in catering and event planning. In 2001, she used her event experience to move into the nonprofit sector and worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson planning their major annual fundraising events. In 2003, Kelly became the corporate development manager for the Phoenix Zoo where she managed the relationships for the zoo’s corporate contributors. She joined US Airways in 2005 and manages the Community Relations initiatives for the West Coast region where she is responsible for the airline’s charitable contributions and the administration for the US Airways Education Foundation. She joined Childsplay as a Trustee in 2006 and serves as a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Arizona Grantmakers Forum.
