Urszula Kulakowski

Urszula Kulakowski has served as the art director at Penn State’s Center for the Performing Arts for the past 18 years. Urszula previously worked as a senior designer and illustrator at an advertising and public relations firm, after having worked as a designer, illustrator and art director in Germany and her native Poland. Urszula served as president of the University and College Designers Association (UCDA) in 2005 and was a board member for four years. UCDA is an international organization promoting excellence in visual communication for institutions of higher education. Now she serves on the board of directors at the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State. Urszula’s design work received numerous awards and appeared in publications including Print and UCDA Designer magazine. Her great passion is promoting the arts as life-changing experiences that are crucial to everyone.
