Chad Peterson is director of marketing of Northlight Theatre in Skokie, IL. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota in 1996 with a B.A. in English and theater. After several years as a professional actor in Minneapolis, Indianapolis, and Seattle, he joined the Marketing Department of INTIMAN Theatre in 2001, where he was promoted to associate director of marketing, in charge of overseeing the day-to-day activities of the department in the years leading up to their Tony Award for best regional theater in 2006.
He has been with Northlight Theatre for the past two and a half years, during which time the theater has set attendance records for both single ticket and subscription sales, with subscribership growing by more than 17 percent to its current place as the largest in the company's 34-year history. He is honored to have been a part of the world premiere productions of The Light in the Piazza by Adam Guettel and Craig Lucas, Nickel and Dimed by Joan Holden (based on the book by Barbara Ehrenreich), and Singing Forest by Craig Lucas at INTIMAN; as well as Lady by Craig Wright and Better Late by Larry Gelbart and Craig Wright at Northlight.
