Kathleen Ash-Milby (Navajo) is Assistant Curator at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in New York City. She worked as an independent curator, writer , and consultant on numerous contemporary art exhibitions and was the Curator and Co-Director of American Indian Community House Gallery. Her exhibition, Off the Map: Landscape in the Native Imagination (2007) is accompanied by a publication for which she also served as the Editor. She was Co-Curator for Edgar Heap of Birds: Most Serene Republics, a public art installation and collateral project.
