Arts Advocacy Day is the only national event designed to bring together a broad cross section of America’s national cultural organizations in order to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts, the humanities, and arts education, as well as other programs within the federal government that have an impact on the visual and performing arts. As an Arts Advocacy Day National CoSponsor, your organization will:
- Join a group of America’s leading organizations advocating for enlightened cultural policies with a strong and united message to the Administration and Congress.
- Have the opportunity to participate in all Arts Advocacy Day events, including training workshops, Congressional Arts Breakfast, and The Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy.
- Have the opportunity to be involved in planning and shaping the advocacy message and the contents of the Congressional Arts Handbook, which is distributed to every Congressional office on Capitol Hill.
- Get an invitation to include a “Dear Member of Congress” letter on your letterhead for the online version of the Congressional Arts Handbook.*
- Have the opportunity to include your logo in the print and online versions of the Congressional Arts Handbook next to the listing of your organization’s name in the directory section.*
- Have a listing of your organization’s name on Arts Advocacy Day materials, including press releases, Congressional invitations, and other printed materials.*
- Get electronic access to all Arts Advocacy Day materials for your organization’s use.
