Laura Grabhorn

Longhouse Education and Cultural Center

A member of the Tlingit and Haida Tribe of Alaska, Laura has served as the assistant director of the Longhouse since 1999. She has a  master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University (1986) and has served undergraduate and graduate students of color at Indiana University and Kansas State University. At The Evergreen State College, she worked in financial aid before becoming an arts administrator. While she enjoys making art as a hobby, her only formal art form is in organizing artists.
