Nature Consortium

The Nature Consortium is an organization that teaches environmental lessons to low income youth of color through the creative arts and hands-on conservation work. Executive Director Nancy Whitlock started the organization in 1998 as an effort to engage neighbors through a sharing of the idea that everyone has the ability to create and explore the arts and care for the environment.  Nancy is a Land, Water & Forest Steward through the WSU-Cooperative Extension and holds a B.A. in Communication from Michigan State University.  She’s an active volunteer and lives with her family in an intentional cohousing community.
