Private Sector Council
The Private Sector Council will meet for the first time discuss the council’s formation, its mission, goals, and tasks in encouraging more support for the arts from throughout the private sector. This year, the United Arts Funds Council will be joined by representatives from the Arts & Business Councils, Business Committees for the Arts, and local arts associations which have an established history of arts/business partnerships. The agenda will include a discussion of the new council mission, representation, tasks, and subcommittees. The first full meeting of the Private Sector Council will be on June 17, 2009 in Seattle.
