The Matthews Opera House & Arts Center presents the work of Black Hills State University (BHSU) senior art students April 3-25. The opening reception takes place 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, Apr. 10 in the art gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public during gallery hours, Mon. through Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The BHSU Senior Art Exhibit features eight BHSU students in their final semesters of college. This show is a requirement for graduation with a degree in Art. Each student will have five to ten pieces and will give a short talk about their work during the opening reception on Apr. 10.

"We decided to move the exhibition to The Matthews’ art gallery because of the gallery’s invitation. We have held the show upstairs in the Opera House Theater and BHSU's Ruddell Gallery, but this space will provide a fresh, professional experience for our students. I hope to continue this collaboration,” remarks BHSU’s art department director, Dave Wilson.
