Storytellers is an annual program that showcases the exemplary talents and ideas of some of our country’s brightest and most groundbreaking veterans. Each year around Veterans Day, the country comes together to celebrate the accomplishments of our veteran Storytellers and become #VetInspired by their stories of leadership.
Storytellers 2017: Washington, D.C. will feature: Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (HVAC) Tim Walz, Chairman of the HVAC Subcommittee on Health Brad Wenstrup, Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Outreach in Public Affairs Amber Smith, and Wounded Warrior Project Alumnus Dan Nevins.
The event will also include the release of the 2017 Veterans Civic Health Index, featuring a panel discussion with House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chairman Phil Roe, M.D. and Got Your 6 Executive Director Bill Rausch, and moderated by Military Times Capitol Hill Bureau Chief Leo Shane.
