How unconscious behavior reveals creativity

Tuesday, October 18, 2016 - 7:00pm - 08:30pm

Penrose Library, Carnegie Reading Room
Event Description

The event will be in three parts:

1. The discussion, “How unconscious behavior reveals creativity,” begins with a presentation of how each of five artists typifies a particular dynamic.

In "The Complete Artist," five artists are presented as examples of creative behavior. Hear the introduction produced in the Citizen Journalism program at the Tim Gill Center for PBS, Colorado Springs, CO:

2. Using the examples of these artists, the idea of unconscious - unplanned and intuitive - behavior will be proposed as the basis of natural creativity.

3. Q&A/Discussion. Some or all of the artists interviewed in "The Complete Artist" will be present, as well as two professional counselors who have experience with The Cycle of Unconscious Response.
