Howard County Arts CouncilEvent Description
This year’s Youth Art Month exhibit is titled Game Changers: Collaboration, Play and the Search for New Ideas and features hundreds of works by HCPSS students in grades K-12. The students' artwork, selected from public school art classes throughout the county, investigates the many ways that students can achieve artistic innovation through games and collaboration.
In Gallery II, in partnership with Howard County Recreation and Parks’ Department of Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Services, the exhibit No Boundaries showcases work by youth and adult artists with developmental disabilities. Often colorful and expressive, the work was created in the Exploring Art and Focus on Art programs offered by the Department of Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Services.
A reception for both exhibits will be held on April 14 from 5–7pm.
Gallery hours: Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 12-4pm
