MetLife has contributed more than $36 million to arts education. Bob Benmosche believes in the unique power of the arts to open doors to learning and experience for young people. Under his leadership, MetLife and MetLife Foundation have made significant contributions to the arts, including $500,000 for the YouthARTS Resource Initiative to assist community organizations in creating effective afterschool arts programs. Benmosche is on the boards of Alfred University, New England Financial and the New York Philharmonic, where he serves on its education committee.
