The House voting record includes votes on floor amendments on NEA and NEH funding, Corporation for Public Broadcasting funding, as well as membership in the Congressional Arts Caucus, signatory status of the FY 2006 Arts in Education and NEA sign-on letters, and cosponsorship of the artists tax deduction bill. The Senate has taken no up-or-down floor votes on amendments exclusively affecting the arts since 2000. In the absence of a detailed voting record, this section of the 2006 Congressional Arts Handbook recognizes certain Senators who have exercised arts leadership in a variety of OTHER ways.
