National Patrons Council: Benefits

National Leadership Council

The National Leadership Council (NLC) is a distinguished group of leading arts funders, artists, corporate leaders, and philanthropists who share the distinction of extraordinary contributions to the arts in this country and a commitment to cultural advancement in America.  NLC members are distinguished by their contributions to one or more cultural institutions at the local, state, or national levels, have a history of philanthropic arts giving, are involved with major agencies or initiatives that contribute significantly to arts and culture, or have contributed directly to the arts in America as an individual.

Membership in the NLC is by invitation only or through leadership gifts to Americans for the Arts of $25,000 or above.  The Council meets informally, once a year, the purpose of which is to discuss the national arts agenda and to gather the nation’s arts leaders in an informal and private setting.  Additionally, The National Leadership Council enjoys unique access to programs, events, and services created especially for this premiere group of leading contributors to Americans for the Arts.
