Stanlyn Brevé
Stanlyn Brevé, Subsidy Programs Specialist for the National Performance Network (NPN), is directly responsible for communicating its programs to its primary constituency of national presenters and performing artists. NPN is a 22-year-old artist-centered organization enabling the practice and public experience of the performing arts in the United States. Brevé manages NPN’s subsidy programs to include: community-engaged artist residencies, commissioning new work, and initiatives supporting mentorship and leadership. A native New Orleanian, Brevé has made her career in the arts as a visual artist, video documenter, media producer, educator, and arts administrator. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1999), the Association of Performing Arts Presenter’s Emerging Leaders Institute (2006), and Interaction Institute for Social Change’s Facilitative Leader Institute (2007). Her personal interest in making art accessible to all has intersected with her service in youth and elderly communities. When not in the office or traveling, Brevé can be found playing with her 2-year-old, Ollie, and satisfying her culinary palate.
