Emerging Leader Council: Operating Procedures
Member Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership on behalf of Americans for the Arts to emerging leaders across the field by:
- Participating consistently in Americans for the Arts emerging leader activities, including convention, conferences, Creative Conversations, and online networking activites.
- Connecting with regional emerging leader networks to provide leadership at the local level.
- Engage actively in Emerging Leader Council tasks, meetings, and committee work, including:
- Regular, full-council conference calls.
- Up to two in-person meetings per year at the emerging leader's own expense. One meeting is generally held in conjunction with Americans for the Arts' Annual Convention.
- At least one Council committee, including committee conference calls in addition to full-council meetings.
