Americans for the Arts has launched the National Cultural District Exchange this week - a new web-based resource, produced in part with the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts, that includes a host of tools and resources specific to cultural districts. Cultural districts play an important role in helping to strengthen local economies, create an enhanced sense of place, and deepen local cultural capacity.

Visit the Exchange to download a series of in-depth essays about financing mechanisms, marketing strategies, and other core topics specific to managing cultural districts, along with detailed how to’s and sample organizing documents. Locate cultural districts around the country using the Exchange’s interactive map and read profiles about statewide and city-specific districts. Stay tuned for more content to be added to the Exchange in 2015, and our Cultural Districts Week Feb. 2 - 6, 2015 complete with a webinar and an ARTSBlog salon exploring cultural districts across the country!
