Arts Education Regional Workshop

We are working with Bill Bulick, founder of Creative Planning Consultants, on developing the agenda for this training course. The training will be based on implementation of the YouthARTS Tool Kit, which was developed in partnership with three communities: Portland, Oregon; San Antonio, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia, as well as the National Endowment for the Arts, Americans for the Arts, and the U.S. Department of Justice. Bill Bulick (from Portland) was the individual who initiated the YouthARTS Project. Additionally, the two other communities will take part in this workshop. Mr. Bulick has been conducting similar training programs throughout the country and will tailor our workshops to the specific needs of the communities in which we will be working. Potential speakers and facilitators include Eduardo Diaz, formerly with the San Antonio Department of Cultural Affairs - one of the founders of the project--and now with ArtsMarket Consulting; and Ayanna Hudson, Fulton County Arts Council, Atlanta, Georgia - also a project founder.
