Ronda Helton is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), where she oversees all marketing, earned media, public relations, group sales and branding initiatives in order to further position the Nashville-based non-profit as a nationally respected leader in the arts. Helton’s 17-year career is marked by expertise in marketing, public affairs and business development for a variety of organizations, including the Tennessee Hotel and Lodging Association, Marketing General, Inc., the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors, and the National Beer Wholesalers Association. Before joining TPAC in 2012, Helton worked as Director of Business Development for Locomotion Creative, a Nashville marketing firm, and served for seven years as Senior Director of Marketing and Sales at one of the nation’s most prominent emerging orchestras, the Grammy® Award-winning Nashville Symphony. At TPAC, Helton leads intra-departmental efforts to develop innovative pricing strategies that most recently resulted in one of the organization’s most successful years with almost 360,000 tickets sold and over $17 million in total ticket sales. Opened in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1980, TPAC has served as a catalyst for the region’s performing arts community for more than 30 years and entertains several hundred thousand audience members each year with the HCA/Tri-Star Health Broadway at TPAC series, a variety of special engagements, and productions from three resident companies: Nashville Ballet, Nashville Opera, and Nashville Repertory Theatre.
