Radhika Mohan is the Program Manager of the Mayors’ Institute on City Design, where she works to educate Mayors across the country on how they can be the chief urban designers of their cities. Prior to her current position, Radhika was a freelance urban designer in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, focusing on writing, research, and site planning for transit-oriented development projects. In early 2010, she served as Interim Coordinator for the Central Corridor Design Center, a light rail transit project that connects the downtowns of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. She was also a former Research Fellow at the Metropolitan Design Center at the University of Minnesota and a former Mayoral Fellow for the City of Chicago. Radhika holds a dual master’s degree in landscape architecture and city planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s of science degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota. Most recently, Radhika was re-appointed by the President of the American Society of Landscape Architects to serve on its National Government Affairs Advisory Committee.
