Brad Hull
Brad Hull's education and experience extends from classical music performer, to college instructor, policy maker, national association manager, education researcher, and administrator. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education Leadership, has taught college-level courses for many years, and has performed across the east coast as a pianist. He also holds a Masters in Music, a Masters in Liberal Studies (Interdisciplinary Arts), a Bachelor of Music in piano and a Bachelor of Arts in music theory and history. Dr. Hull also has experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) being a CTE specialist at the Vermont Department of Education where he worked within the school systems to create and implement teacher professional development programs. Later as school administrator for a CTE secondary school, he worked to develop career academies, incorporate higher-order thinking skills into the curriculum, and create a staff culture of continuous learning and collaborative support. Currently he serves as the Deputy Executive Director and Chief of Staff at the National Association of State Boards of Education where he works to ensure the comprehensive implementation of the strategic plan, develops and strengthens partnerships with other organizations, and oversees all staff and department functions. His greatest passions include teaching arts appreciation general education courses, interdisciplinary studies education, Chopin, and just about anything that involves beauty and creativity.
