Dejha Carrington's expertise in communications, creative campaigns and consulting build awareness and support for arts and cultural organizations, cities and social responsibility initiatives. As Vice President of External Relations & Communications at National YoungArts Foundation, a nonprofit that identifies and supports the most promising artists in the country, she leads an exceptional team of experts in content marketing, digital storytelling, video and photography, creative, and public relations.
With more than 15 years experience in the arts and communications industry, memorable projects include unveiling the William John Kennedy Collection with The Warhol museum, launching the Renzo Piano Pavilion at Kimbell Art Museum, and telling the story of Medellin through the lens of architecture and arts innovation.
Dejha is co-creator of the public art installation NEWT: Experiments in Light, Color & Sound; and most recently, was awarded Cannonball’s Wavemaker grant for a new initiative that promotes arts patronage.
Born and raised in Montreal, Dejha calls Miami home.
