As Project Director for the 50th Anniversary Convention, Jamie manages the planning and program development for the organization’s 50th Anniversary Convention taking place in June 2010. She started as an intern with the organization in 2001 and has been an employee of Americans for the Arts for seven years, working on a number of projects including managing a supervisors' training program; planning several staff and board retreats; helping to oversee the organization’s environmental analysis and strategic planning process; working on board development; managing the emerging leaders program and Annual Convention; and working on the meetings and events team. Jamie has a bachelor's degree in business administration and human resources from The Ohio State University.
Jamie’s artistic and creative experiences lie in dance, yoga, and photography, but she enjoys all art disciplines, especially the amazing theater scene in Washington, DC.
