Ms. Kristin Kusanovich

Kristin Kusanovich is a modern/contemporary dancer who has directed, choreographed and produced over one hundred solo and ensemble works in dance, drama, musical theatre, opera, film and video. She received her MFA in Choreography and Performance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and her BA from Santa Clara University in Dance with a minor in Mathematics. Recent choreographic commissions include Black Hole Theatre in Winnipeg, Broadway by the Bay in California and Marquette University in Wisconsin. A presenter at local and international academic and arts conferences, Ms. Kusanovich has been awarded artistic and research grants supporting her choreography, teaching, publications and presentations on applied theatre methods, arts education, ethics and spirituality. She is a senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Santa Clara University and a master teacher of children’s dance. She currently works with a fantastic executive board as Co-President with Jessy Kronenberg of California Dance Education Association.
