Dorothy Fall

As an artist, Dorothy Fall is proud to have Americans for the Arts as her advocate.

“The organization is prominent in its role to educate the public on the importance of the arts. The arts are essential for the enrichment and well-being of our lives. One can count on Americans for the Arts as spokesperson for the highest levels of creativity.”

Through the Americans for the Arts Annual Fund, Dorothy supports our work in advocacy, research, and leadership, to be a voice for the arts.

Dorothy has been attending the Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy for years, because “the speakers, leaders in their field, open avenues for imagination and reflection.” This annual event is free and open to the public, bringing discussion about the arts and arts education to prominent national consciousness through a broad range of attendees, from National Arts Action Summit participants to members of Congress and their staff, to arts patrons and members of the general public. Each year, contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations keep this forum free, both in person and online.

Dorothy is an exhibiting artist who has been involved with local art organizations in Washington, DC, including: Pyramid Atlantic, Gallery 10, the Washington Sculptors Group, Women’s Caucus on Arts, and the Washington Water Color Association.

Americans for the Arts is grateful to have supporters like Dorothy who care deeply about advancing the arts and arts education in their community and nationwide.
