Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network

This program is a partnership of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Defense that serves the unique and special needs of military patients and veterans who have been diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury and psychological health conditions, as well as their families and caregivers. A core component of the initiative will be to support creative arts therapy programs at a total of 12 military and veteran treatment facilities by 2017. Locations that are currently anticipated to participate in the program include Alaska, California, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network
Online National Resource Center Enterprise Software Platform Design and Implementation

Americans for the Arts on behalf of Creative Forces: The NEA Military Healing Arts Network is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to conduct the implementation of a custom-built web-based National Resource Center/Enterprise Software Platform (NRC/ESP) that will establish a business intelligence database system to support stakeholders providing support for target military and veteran populations across the Creative Forces Network.  The online NRC/ESP will manage knowledge distribution, support consistent delivery of clinical treatment, facilitate data collection, manage local community arts asset mapping, provide collaboration support, coordinate research efforts and support other capacity-building efforts for both clinical and community settings.
