Jacqueline first joined Americans for the Arts in May 2018 as the Arts Education Intern in the Government and Public Affairs Department. She transitioned to her current position in August 2018. In her role as the Local Arts Services Associate, she is responsible for coordinating and implementing logistics for live and digital events and leveraging the scholarship program to create more opportunities for participation at annual events. Prior to joining Americans for the Arts, Jacqueline interned at The Public Theater, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, and Ballet Austin. 

Jacqueline received her B.A. in Theater Arts from St. Edward's University. She is passionate about theater and the ways in which we can use performance as a means for social change. Jacqueline focused her senior research on the under-representation of the Latinx community in the theater and is committed to advancing the arts and making them more accessible for artists and audience members alike. She enjoys acting, singing, and finding new running trails in Washington, DC.
