Bonding Diverse Teams Through Movement

Description of Service:

A rare and transforming experience of collective movement and rhythm, this workshop teaches the basics of circle dances (Raas and Garba) hailing from the Gujrat region of India. Starting with Raas, each person dances a simple sequence with a partner, then in a quartet, then in a line, and finally in the full circle. Through this high energy process, participants engage with multiple partners, and each person’s attention to detail is critical for the maintenance and success of the final circle. Group members learn how to “play” in concentric dance circles. Participants must hone flexibility, timing, and use spatial awareness to choose where they want to be in the configuration as well as when they want to enter, change position, or leave.

Storytelling For Leaders

Description of Service:

Use the 5 Elements to make every story we tell focused, succinct, and persuasive. This workshop teaches leaders how to communicate with more purpose, focus and intention so that they can engage and manage their teams far more effectively. Stories are one of the most powerful ways to convey your message because stories are scientifically proven to engage listeners — i.e., they cause your brain to release Oxytocin (aka “the Cuddle Hormone”), and Oxytocin makes you feel more connected to spaces, individuals and objects. The workshop teaches leaders to pay closer attention to how they are expressing themselves. These methods ensure that you have your people on board to go in the direction you believe is beneficial. The goal is to ensure your leaders are able to better communicate to manage change and obtain employee engagement.
