March 2023 -- As Americans for the Arts continues our Designing our Destiny work, we are reviewing the Pérez Prize in Public Art & Civic Design with the Jorge and Darlene Pérez Family Foundation. We are in conversation with the Pérez team as we gather insights and better understand the direction of Americans for the Arts’ work for and with the arts and culture sector. Currently, the 2023 award process is on hold to allow time to dive into our engagement work with local arts agencies. We will be meeting with the Pérez team over the summer and have more updates in the fall. Thank you for your support of public art!
