The San Diego Pro Arte Voices will present the professional premiere of L.O.S.T. by Jason Rosenberg, Ph.D., UCSD.  Rosenberg composed L.O.S.T. in the contemporary style while completing his doctorate degree in San Diego.  The piece is paired Thomas Tallis’s Lamentations of Jeremiah, from the Renaissance era.  Each line of L.O.S.T. begins with a different letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The four letters omitted from the Hebrew alphabet are L, O, S, and T.  The concert begins with a small group performing Lamentations of Jeremiah, followed by the integrated L.O.S.T. with the full choir.  Rosenberg deftly weaves the two styles together to tell a powerful musical story, and the San Diego Pro Arte Voices are delighted to introduce the piece in its home town.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for students with ID, and can be purchased on the website at www.sdproartevoices.org. Children five and under are free. Every dollar raised from ticket sales and donations goes directly to the artists and musicians of the San Diego Pro Arte Voices who perform at this event.
