Michel Fokine, Alexei Ratmansky, Marius Petipa and George Balanchine are among the most influential choreographers of the 20th century. Their works Les Sylphides, Bolero, Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, and Prodigal Son, respectively, reveal where classical ballet began and how these choreographers have shaped and influenced our art form over the last 175 years.

Les Sylphides
A one-act romantic reverie that is in the repertory of nearly every company in the world.

Boléro
This reflection on modern society and its pressures reveals our inner demons and struggle.

Le Corsaire Pas de Deux
This pas de deux is one of the most famous of classical ballet repertoire. This audience favorite showcases thrilling virtuoso technique.

Prodigal Son
The story of Prodigal Son comes from the parable in the Gospel According to St. Luke. Reflecting themes of sin and redemption, this work ends with the prodigal's return.
