Americans for the Arts’ Annual Convention is coming to a screen near you! Registration is now open to attend the virtual conference June 8-11, 2021.

As the country reemerges and rebuilds from the pandemic, 2021 can be a moment of hope for everyone and a chance to share our art in all the ways we have missed. For the arts and culture sector, it will also be a year of navigating reopening challenges and continuing momentum in the fight for racial equity. The 2021 Annual Convention is our opportunity to gather and reimagine our creative field and communities.

Join us for a week of inspiring keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities focused on the pressing questions ahead:

  • Centering Equity in Creative Recovery
  • Putting Creative Workers and Cultural Organizations to Work
  • Improving Policies and Practices for the Creative Economy
  • Envisioning Tomorrow’s Creative Engines

The arts and culture field continues to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, Americans for the Arts is expanding access to Annual Convention through extended scholarship opportunities. We strongly encourage those that identify as, reside in, and/or directly serve intentionally marginalized audiences to submit a request for scholarship. We use the following categories understanding that the terms may not be universal and may be limiting: communities of color, rural populations, audiences with disabilities, and/or LGBTQIA+. We invite individuals to self-identify and to contact us with any questions. Learn more and submit your request here by May 3, 2021.
