Fifth National Arts and Culture Economic Impact Study to be Released June 17

Friday, May 5, 2017

Every day, more than 100,000 nonprofit arts and culture organizations act as economic drivers—creating an industry that supports jobs, generates government revenue, and is the cornerstone of our tourism industry.

Arts & Economic Prosperity 5 is the most comprehensive economic impact study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry ever conducted. Americans for the Arts will release the fifth national Arts Economic & Prosperity study, with data from 341 partners across the country, on Saturday, June 17, at a special Annual Convention session in San Francisco. Now is the time to preorder study publications to share with stakeholders in your community, including mayors, board members, business and community leaders and other elected officials.

Brochures include study highlights and are the perfect takeaway for any large meeting of stakeholders or advocates. The 24–page summaries of the AEP5 report go deeper and include more information on the study’s background, scope, methodology, and key findings.

For communities that didn’t participate in AEP5, pocket slide rule calculators allow easy estimation of the total economic impact of your nonprofit arts and culture organization on the go. Pre-packaged bundles are also available for a full set of advocacy giveaways. Bundles include 100 brochures, 10 summary reports, and 5 slide rules.
