Whether it’s a general music class, a performing group, or integrated into other core subjects, music is a wonderful way for students to develop skills and stay engaged at school. The Americans for the Arts public opinion poll showed that 9 out of 10 American adults believe that the arts are part of a well-rounded education and should be taught in grades K-12.
Our friends at the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) are running a fantastic program around Music in Our Schools Month®. Read about the history of the celebration, learn how to secure a local proclamation, download images and handouts for publicity, and even join them for a big celebration on March 28!
