Americans for the Arts President and CEO Robert L. Lynch offered this statement in reaction to news that National Endowment for the Arts Chairwoman Jane Chu has chosen to resign on June 4, 2018: 

 

“It has been a distinct honor to work with Jane Chu for the past four years. She has been the ideal leader and partner in working toward accomplishing access to all of the arts for all Americans. My gratitude and heartfelt thank you to Jane for her vision, inspiration, leadership, and all that she has done for Americans for the Arts and the field. I wish her all the best and look forward to future opportunities working together in service to the arts.”
