Measure Business Support for the Arts in Your Community Coming up soon: Arts Advocacy Day, March 12-13
BizSurvey330.jpg AAD_Standard_Color.png
The National Survey of Business Support for the Arts, conducted annually in partnership with The Conference Board, looks at trends in support for the arts from small to large US businesses that participate in corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, or sponsorships. If you are interested in conducting a survey in your community, email [email protected]. It’s not too late to register for Arts Advocacy Day next week! Join hundreds of artists, community leaders, and concerned citizens for a day of advocacy training, networking, strategizing, and a day on the Hill speaking with your legislators to develop strong public policies and appropriate increased public funding for the arts.

American Express: Made by Members PepsiCo’s Arts Initiatives

This BCA 10 Hall of Fame company highlights the creativity, innovation, and hustle of its many members through its “Made by Members” site. In the latest example of Opening Ceremony, they share the story of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. For the past 16 years they have been operating their fashion label as a collaborative effort between music, travel, and food, among others. In addition to last year’s launch of LIFEWTR, which has featured the works of fashion designers, women in art, and young artists, PepsiCo announced a collaboration between their iced tea brand Brisk and Blank Panther’s Michael B. Jordan. The partnership will offer three artists (film, visual art, writing) the opportunity to work with mentors from Jordan’s production company Outlier Society. The first “Creators Class” will be selected later this month.
