Two New Studies Illustrate Arts and Culture Impact
In 2013, 48 United Arts Funds around the country raised $99.5 million for the arts, and 10 of the country’s Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) programs placed volunteers whose collective consulting work for arts organizations translated to a value of more than $1 million. These numbers show that businesses and individuals value the arts in their communities and are willing to spend both their time and money to support the arts. Every year Americans for the Arts conducts two surveys to track the successes of both United Arts Funds and Business Volunteers for the Arts® programs–you can read more highlights of the 2013 results in the link above.
