Ms. Alecia T. Kintner
Alecia Kintner has been President & CEO of ArtsWave since 2014. She is proud to be leading the country’s largest community arts campaign and the region’s foremost local arts agency, known nationally as an innovator in research and services as well as impact-based grantmaking and fundraising. Since joining ArtsWave, Alecia has developed groundbreaking new partnerships with the Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network, SOURCE Cincinnati, Cincinnati Business Courier, #StartUpCincy and the Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative, among others.
Alecia’s career in nonprofit management and arts administration has led to work experiences in Moscow, Honduras, New York City, and Connecticut, where she served for a decade as Deputy Director of the Greater Hartford Arts Council. An advocate for building community through the arts, Alecia’s interests lie in cross-sector collaborations and nontraditional business and arts partnerships. She serves as an elected member and past chair of the Private Sector Council of Americans for the Arts. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a BA in Performing Arts Journalism from schools in her native Southern California.
