
Whit Bones
Whit is the Director of Community Engagement and Strategic Adancement at the Arts Council of Indianapolis. He aims to raise awareness for the value of a robust arts community while raising visibility of the vibrant Indy arts scene. Whit works within the arts sector locally, regionally, and nationally as well as across sectors to advocate for broad arts support and engagement. He has formally held positions at the University of Indianapolis, Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston where he has always found himself working to build and engage communities. Whit believes in a world where meaningful engagements with art is accessible to everyone. He lives just South of Indianapolis with his wife and two young sons.
