Dale Dorlin, native-Detroiter and now Pittsburgh resident, brings over 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector and has worked with over 15 organizations in various arts administration capacities.
In Pittsburgh, he leads the public relations focus area of the marketing and communications department. Internally, he has developed synergies with the marketing technology focus area and the department of strategic partnerships, with the goal in mind to increase the impact and power of institutional and programmatic storytelling. Externally, he is focused on building community relationships to increase opportunities to diversify audiences and strengthen the brand of the Cultural District.
Before arriving to Pittsburgh, his most recent role was Marketing Projects Manager for Wayne State University’s The Hilberry Theatre, where he concurrently earned an MFA in Theater Management. While specializing in audience engagement, community outreach, and marketing communications, Dale’s highlighted work at The Hilberry involved spearheading programmatic marketing campaigns for productions such as the groundbreaking presentation of The Raisin Cycle.
